Sleep Doctor reached out to us to see if we would be a good fit as a part of their short-form video editor network. By consistently delivering quality videos and hitting deadlines, we became their sole short-form video editor. We also help out with long-form video editing as well as thumbnails when their in-house team is busy.

• Long-Form Video Editing: Our main goal with long-form content is to keep the viewer engaged. While that is broad, it essentially means hooking the viewers, cutting unnecessary fluff, maintaining good pacing, and keeping the audience entertained. We do this by starting with a cliffhanger to reduce early drop-offs and optimize watch time. Next, we trim the video down to essential content, removing ums, ahs, repeated words, and off-topic tangents. Lastly, we enhance engagement by adding graphics as visual aids.

• Repurposing Short-Form Clips: To maximize the effectiveness of the long-form video, we repurposed it for short form. This involves pulling the most entertaining clips and formatting them for short-form platforms. We cut the clips, added subtitles, and included stock footage to create snappy content for YT Shorts, IG Reels, TikTok, etc.

• Thumbnail Design: Arguably the most important factor in video performance is getting your video clicked on. We craft attention-grabbing thumbnails that complement the video title to create intrigue and maximize click-through rates (CTR) while staying on brand.

Since partnering with us, Sleep Doctor has gained 85,000 new subscribers in just under a year! While we can't take all the credit—they create awesome content—we like to think we played a small part in their success!
